We had an official signing at Samuel Seow's office with Baked Beanz.

And I had to snap like a million pictures.

Its wonderful this deal has gone through and documents finally signed.

What a great relief! :D

Ok, that last picture wasn't necessary in regards to the signing but it was meant to shown the resemblance btw Kelvin and his son, Keagan.

Believe me, they kinda reallllly look alike.

QYWY Audtions #4 and Call-backs #1

Had QYWY auditons and call-backs at The Substation at Armenian Street for 4 hours strgt.
About 18 people came, if I'm not mistaken.
Its really awesome but boy, really tiring.
So first-timers or walk-ins would do a monologue while people called back would do a particular scene in the film.
Helped David with the digital camera while Eugene used the cannon camera.
Luo Yi can act! hahahaha.
First time seeing him act and I dare say, its good.
And he made a point to think of new ways to approach each scene. Creative indeeed!
Good job!
But I think Luo Yi can play Ming character better. The gangster bo chap kinda person.

Right before I was about to leave the house for the office, Yeow called me to go to a private function.
Believe me when I say I had not a single clue what I was going for.
Only a long while later, I discovered we were going to the Official Launch of Russian Business Incubator 'Futurus' and its in collaboration with Singapore Business Federation.
Really pretty awesome.
First time ever that I've done this.
Going around to socialize to introduce myself and eventually passing a name card over.

Loved it.
It was like I was being thrown into situation where I had to pick things up really fast and just go for it!
Met alot of big business directors and executives and several of them are interested to do a project with AI Films.
Great exposure for me. :D

That in itself, is the grace of God.
You know, its really a privilege for me to be able to do this, to be already working in the industry in whatever way possible.
I'm very blessed to have this opportunity and I will in every way possible be in turn, a tremendous blessing.
I know I move and live in God's amazing grace and favour and yes, I'm really enjoying my internship and will go a long way with AI Films.

Exactly 6 hours from now, I'm gna attend the Official Opening of China Film Festival 2008.

There will be a cocktail reception then a movie screening of Dream Weavers.

Its gonna be held at GV Vivo City.

Dress code: Formal.

Exhilarating but its gonna be my first time!

Had a great meeting at Samuel Seow's office.

Srsly, so much fun!

Ok, it seems that I can't say the exact happenings of the recent meetings and projects because its all confidential.

But when the actual filming happens, I'll bring my cam along to snap snap snap!

Excited! Gonna be the Production Assistant on set! Which is definitely what I'm looking forward to in this internship.

Wanna learn how it actually works, more application besides the theory.

Wow, four mtgs today.

Tiring yo! But very fruitful. Good progress for various projects and feature film

Oh, Kelvin was saying that my Chinese can actually improve by just hanging out with people who speak Chinese throughout the entire mtg!

Pretty cool!

Anyway, had some really cool talking sessions with Yeow and Kelvin in between waiting for mtgs.

Oh, and another intern's coming in!

Ok, today marks the first day of the film internship.

Boy, it was nerve-wrecking. Esp the night before.

I mean, there are expectations one has to lift up to and everything, but thank God, it did turn out really fine.

Everyone was really friendly and easy going.

Kelvin's the director. Yeow is the executive producer and Eugene's the producer.

The discussion went on for two & a half hours and was very productive. :D

So I'm going with Kelvin to meet some big names in the industry next week.

And for two MV filming projects, I'm gonna work with Eugene.

As I listened to them speak and discuss on the current developments of the various projects, I realized "Man, they sure do know their stuffs!"

This is a HUGE thing. This whole internship thing.

Cause I'm getting involved in the filming and behind the scenes action btw a successful film, and meeting with sponsors, scriptwriters, singers, etc.

And I really am very honoured. I can't say it enough.

I believe that as God blesses me and opens many doors for me, He will give me the grace to hold myself and serve the people above.

I'm excited ok!

Oh, and the three were invited for Asia Conference on the 19th! HAHA!

So I'll meet them there! :D
